Terms of service

The service

Tap is a video-call workspace that transcribes calls and turns what is said into tasks, agreed ideas and prompts, and can hand that work to coding agents on Forge. We provide it as it is, improve it continuously, and may change features with notice in the app.

Accounts and workspaces

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for what happens under it. A workspace owner decides who joins, which plan it is on, and which integrations are connected. Keep tokens you paste into Tap under your own control; you can remove them at any time.

Plans, trials and payment

Paid plans are billed per workspace through Stripe, monthly or yearly, and start with a free trial of the length shown at checkout. You can cancel any time; the plan stays active to the end of the paid period and is not refunded for partial periods unless the law requires it. Prices include VAT where it applies; Stripe works it out from your billing address and, for a business, its VAT number. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.

Recordings and consent

Audio in a call is recorded and transcribed while recording is on. You are responsible for telling participants and guests, and for pausing recording when someone asks. Do not use Tap to record people who have not agreed to it where that is unlawful.

Forge and code written by agents

A workspace owner or admin can start a Forge session, in which a coding agent (Claude or Codex) works on one of the workspace’s repositories from a brief Tap writes from a session. The agent’s code arrives as a branch and a pull request with a preview; nothing is merged or released by Tap. Code written by an AI can be wrong, insecure or incomplete: review it, test it and decide yourself what to merge and deploy. You are responsible for the repositories, accounts and keys you connect, and for what you ship from them.

Acceptable use

Do not use Tap to break the law, to infringe others’ rights, to send spam or malware, or to attack the service or other users. Work you hand to integrations (Linear, GitHub, Forge) runs under your own accounts and their terms.

Your content

You own what you say and create in Tap. You give us the permission needed to store, transcribe, display and process it to run the service for you. We do not sell it or use it to train models.

Availability and liability

We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not guarantee it. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Tap and delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms after a warning where practical.

Law and contact

Latvian law applies and the courts of Latvia have jurisdiction, without affecting consumer rights in your country. Questions: hello@ttapp.app.
